Why Custom Clubs?
Divotmasters Golf believes that when it comes to golf clubs there is no such thing as one-size-fits-all. Since your golf swing is probably a little different from those on the tour, why should you use the same golf clubs as those? We offer the tour clubs, but custom made to fit your swing, not the pros. The golf clubs head design, shaft, grip, bend point, flex, length, and lie all contribute to a golf clubs playability and we offer the advice, selection, and know how to build you a set of custom golf clubs that will change your golf game forever.

The Clubhead Design:
A custom golf club begins with the clubheads design. The designs vary greatly and should be chosen carefully. Low handicappers, mid-handicappers, high handicappers, seniors, ladies, and juniors all have the clubheads designed for their specific playing abilities. Divotmasters Golf can help you choose the right head design for your golf swing.

The Flex & Bendpoint of a Shaft:
The golf shaft has these two very important characteristics that should be taken serious in your choice when purchasing a custom golf clubs. Flex is determined by your swing speed and possibly how soft or firm you want the golf club to feel. We at Divotmasters Golf offer a massive amount of shafts, each having a recommended swing speed range so you can easily pick the one that’s right for custom fit club. Most of our shafts also have a reference to the point where the maximum bending is occurring during your golf swing. These range from low, mid, to high. A low bend point gives you a softer feel and a higher trajectory in ball flight. While a higher bend point gives you a firmer feel and lower trajectory.

Squeeze that Grip:
A light grip is essential to a good golf swing. So with your custom golf club you should take this into consideration. Most of us know this already but few realize that the size of your grip may be making it impossible to achieve a good golf swing. Too small of a grip may result in a tendency to turn your hands over through impact resulting in a pull or hook. Too large of a grip may restrict your ability to rotate the hands through impact resulting in a slice. Again our selection is unbeatable, from Cord to Color, and sizes ranges from Junior to Jumbo. You’re sure to get a good grip on your custom golf club. --Pun intended.

Length & Lie:
The distance your hands are from the ground determines the length of your custom golf club should be. If the grip end of the club is the correct distance from the ground during impact, the club head will be at the correct lie angle. If the grip end of the club is too low the toe will be up and the heel down, this results in a pulled shot. Vice-versa, the grip end to high, results in a pushed shot. The way to change the lie angle to the correct position through impact is to change the length of the club. The longer club corrects tow down, while two up corrected by a shorter club.
